"Lovely staff kept me calm and reassured"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital / Accident and emergency

After an operation a few weeks ago I started to have pain that needed to be checked. With also suffering from anxiety I was very shaken and worried but all staff from start to end looked after me with support and reassurance and got me sorted with a diagnosis and plan within 4 and half hours after walking into A&E.

They all worked together and kept me on the loop the whole time. So thank you to all the staff that saw me especially one member of staff who is part of the emergency team who looked after me and got me the help I needed.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments about your experience of being a patient in the Emergency Department. It is good to hear that staff looked after you well and supported you when anxious and in pain. I hope that you are feeling much better now. I will share your kind comments with all the staff in the Emergency Department.
