"Experience of treatment."

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

I was firstly referred to the Urology department for a "neck to pelvis" CT scan by my GP. Shortly after this I was called back in for a MRI scan of my prostate gland. This revealed a lesion on one of my kidneys and I underwent a biopsy operation for samples to be taken for analysis. Throughout all my treatments I have found all the staff to be caring and calm and the atmosphere within the hospital patient friendly. tHis is important to people of my generation (I am 76 years old) who remember hospitals as somewhat forbidding place. I do not yet know what the future holds but thanks to the way I have been treated so far I have no worries.

Dear Victor,

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review of the service you have received from the urology department.

We were delighted to learn that the staff have supported you to feel comfortable when attending the hospital and have given you confidence in their care.

We will be pleased to pass your kind comments on to the department.

Kind regards

The PALS Team
