"Dynamanic team working in a challenging..."

About: Croydon University Hospital / Accident and emergency

How professional staff are expected to work in such challenging conditions is a credit to their professionalism. The A and E Dept were at full stretch last night and whilst some would be critical of the working conditions on face value, the staff stuck at it and were professional and polite everyone was pitching in. A doctor made a cup of tea another tracked down a sandwich to make my mother as comfortable as possible. Questions were answered well and whilst the process took longer than we would have liked the appropriate care was given.

Your work was appreciated and thank you

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback about you and your mother's experience in A&E. It has been very challenging recently due to the winter pressures but staff always strive to make people feel as comfortable as possible. The team in A&E work together to give the best care possible at all times and so they will be really pleased to see you comments.

With best wishes

Hilary Frayne
