I think we are all apprehensive about hospitals and if we are to use their services, then we hope that we receive the best treatment and care possible.

My experience of the Cardiology Department, at The Glenfield Hospital, was first class, from administration, technicians and nurses to the Doctors and Specialist surgical care.

From an initial referral for an angiogram to the eventual triple by pass required I was made to feel comfortable and human, in an environment that often strips away ones dignity, I felt like I mattered.

The service presented by all areas was efficient and professional, geared at getting results and making maximum use of resources available.

I feel very luck to be here, to have been looked after by such a dedicated team of wonderful people who go out of their way to care for others and who do this job everyday.
