I had my second appointment at the Biggin Hill Bladder and Bowel Clinic this week, like the first appointment it was absolutely wonderful.

It could be very embarrassing to talk about bladder and bowel issues but the specialist nurse, Mary, has been excellent. She is very professional and has kept me informed about the treatment and advise dispensed, why she is suggested particular action and what impact it would have.

I have not been uncomfortable at all taking about my symptoms. The advice I have been given has made a difference to my day to day life, even after just one appointment.

Thank you for the excellent comments relating to the Bladder and Bowel service. I am certain that many patients feel anxious before their first appointment and your posting will provide reassurance to them.
