"Waiting time & non existent appointment"

After receiving an appointment with orthopaedic department for April, I received a phone call the morning of 18th January stating they had a cancellation for 1 o clock that day & would I like it? Of course I said yes.... I arrived for appointment at 12.40 and proceeded to wait & watch people come & go. I finally managed to grab a passing nurse & enquire about what was happening as I had now been waiting one & half hours... another 15 mins & nothing so went back down to main entrance to complain. Dr's secretary then came to me to say I wasn't on list for today!!! After stating my disappointment & anger at the service I was told Dr would see me if I waited another half hour. Totally unacceptable & waste of my time & money for car parking!!!!
