"Brilliant for wisdom teeth!"

I had a flare up of impacted & infected wisdom teeth. After a week of night sweats and severe pain, I turned up to the Bristol Dental School around 8am (still feverish!) to see if there was anything they could do.

The website had warned to expect a long wait so brought my Kindle & drinks to reception. I needn't have worried- after filling out a health questionnaire I was called in to meet with a student dentist after around 40mins. She was lovely and overseen by an excellent senior dentist who was a great laugh. I had X-Ray's in the imaging department within the hour and -after following up with the student dentist- was told to head off shopping & come back at 3pm to have them removed by dental surgeon students.

The students were very professional & well-supervised throughout. After witnessing friends wait months for wisdom tooth treatment I was amazed to have both my teeth out the same day! Everyone was so kind and friendly and keen to put me at ease throughout! -Even got a cute Tooth Fairy bag to keep my teeth in!!
