"Disastrous services. Patients' needs are not..."

I don't understand what the problem with this clinic is. I have always wanted to be able to book appointments online. They made me change the websites... but there are still not even a single appointment available. So I am forced to skip work on Friday mornings to go there [physically without an appointment so that they may give me or not an appointment, maybe for another day.

In two years, I have never seen my GP even once. He never showed up in the available appointments, even during those times where there were available possible appointments with the previous website, so every time it was a different doctor.

Another problem: I have already told them that one address is wrong. I have never lived there, so I don't know where that address came from. Supposedly the information was corrected, but today I have just seen that address in which I have never lived in my profile again. Now I understand why my gynecology appointment has not arrived! It should have a month ago at least.

Trying to complain about all those deficiencies is useless. Even the patients' association won't hear about any complaints. The only thing I was told before insisting and insisting was to contact the "practice manager". Who is this person? Any means of contact? Email? Phone? No way. They didn't even reply.

I would never recommend this place. The last time I went to book an appointment on a Friday, having to skip work without knowing if I was going to have it or not. Everybody in the queue in front of me was told to come back the next Monday to book the appointment, not even to have the actual GP appointment.

The administrative assistantsare not blame. Probably they are as fed up as patients are of the ridiculous useless way appointments are dealt with. As one of them said to me, she "was fed up of hearing the same thing all day long." So my question is, why is nothing done to solve this? They must have tons of complaints and one of the highest disatisfaction rates ever. Probably that's why they keep quiet about contact details for the responsible people.

Having said all that, when I finally got to the GP everything is 50/50. I came across one which was completely useless, one who was extremely helpful, and another one who cornered me until I accepted to have a smear test done that I didn't want to. The smear test was awfully painful as I knew it was going to be, (that's why I didn't want to do it). The person who eventually carried it out tried their hardest to make me feel comfortable, though. So 50/50 I would say. Things would be much better if I could stay with the good GP for good, and book appointments.

I will have to go tomorrow to ask about the address and the missing gynecology appointment, and I am already dreading it.
