"A&E then ACU stay"

About: Lister Hospital / Accident and emergency

I just want to say thank you to the wonderful staff in A&E who clamed me down and dealt with me very compassionately when I was admitted on 20.12.17 with tachycardia. Every single member of staff who dealt with me was reassuring and kind, just what I needed when I was panicking with a racing heartbeat!

I was transferred up to ACU on 21.12.17 and was discharged that evening, having experienced a really kind member of their team willing to go the extra mile because I am a coeliac and needed food not instantly available.

The consultant was incredibly reassuring and matter-of-fact and my treatment and test were organised and carried out swiftly and results reviewed within an hour.

I was really impressed and thankful for the positive experience

Many thanks for the feedback Alison, which we have just shared with our A&E and ACU team colleagues at the Lister.

We know that they would want to join us in thanking you for taking the time to post your feedback...
