"A comfortable and memorable stay"

What I liked

I was exceptionally happy with my care and experiences whilst I was in A& E and my stay on Birch Ward.In A& E I was treated kindly and efficiently and I was kept informed of what was happening and without delay transferred to Birch Ward.

I would like to congratulate and commend the staff of Birch Ward. What a happy and efficiently run ward it appeared to be.I felt nothing was too much trouble and the staff were kind and knowledgeable.

The ward, bathroom and equipment was very clean, tidy and uncluttered and the lady who cleaned always seemed cheerful.

The food was tasty, attractive and a good choice

What could be improved

I the shower room on Birch Ward there should be a Nurse Call button next to the shower seat. The nearest call button is by the door.
