What I liked

I did not have to wait, either for my first investigation/ examination or at a follow up ultra sound scan appointment.

The registrar did notice a condition that no one else had diagnosed and I was referred for further tests.

I had an apology for having to cancel a follow-up appointment.

What could be improved

Communication- I did not know I would be seeing a registrar who had been called in that day. I thought I was seeing the gynaecologist.There was a nurse there also who didn't introduce herself- I felt a bit of an entity rather than a person although the registrar tried to make me comfortable.

My next outpatients after a hospital visit was cancelled at short notice. My list of anxious questions about upcoming surgery now have to wait until I am offered another appointment.

Anything else?

I am nervous of what is ahead. I have to wait a week for a GP appointment in the meantime, hoping that she may be able to answer some of my questions.
