Attended a cardiology appointment with my elderly mother on 2nd January.
Prior to the consultation, a nurse did an ECG and pulled down my mum's compression support stockings in order to attach the electrode to her leg.
He failed to roll the stocking back up on completion of the test and the tourniquet effect caused an ulcer to well up on her lower leg.
Had to get the District Nurse out to dress the wound the following day.
Hardly the sort of professional competent treatment you expect from hospital nursing staff.
