About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care (Wards 21-24)

(as the patient),

I wish to highly praise the professionalism and support I have received from Wishaw General Hospital Breast Feeding Clinic. Their knowledge and support have been vital in establishing a good breast feeding routine with my baby. Without their assistance I would have given up on breast feeding despite the renowned benefits. With their support my baby was identified as having tongue tie and following the corrective procedure my baby put on 10oz in one week, where previously she had only gained 1oz. I am extremely grateful for the teams support and wish this to be passed onto them.

Thank you so much for the positive feedback in relation to our breastfeeding support team here at University Hospital Wishaw.

The breast feeding clinic has only been running for just over a year and it is great to hear the difference it is making to mums and babies.

I am delighted to hear your breast feeding is going well and that with the identification and treatment of your daughter's tongue tie this has made things so much better for you both.

Please be assured I will pass on your lovely comments to the team as they will really appreciate you taking time from what I can only imagine is a busy time in your life to remember and thank them.
