"Life savers"

About: Newark Hospital

Visited the Urgent care centre with my grandma on Sunday morning the 14th January as she became very ill due to gallbladder complications, she was seen straight away and her skin started to turn slightly yellow, they soon discovered she had developed sepsis and had a very high temperature which they got under control. They quickly got her ready and comfortable on the bed while they did some tests, and they informed us that an ambulance was called for to take her and myself to Kings Mill hospital (Kings Mill A&E had discharged her 2 days before). The staff were very friendly and thorough and communicated well with each other as well as me and my grandma and made us both feel at ease and safe during this bad time. I believe that their quick actions saved my grandma that morning and stopped things from taking an even worse turn. They quickly picked up the problems and addressed them straight away in an effective, caring and professional manner. Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback. I will ensure your kind comments are passed on to the teams involved in your grandmother's care as I am sure they will be pleased to read your words of praise. Thank you again for taking the time to write this post and I hope you grandmother is recovering well.
