What I liked
I liked the fact that I could go and have a minor op just half an hour from home. However, this is no longer the case and we in North Norfolk now have a much longer trip to Norwich.
The staff were great and really kind and I believe they are as sad as I am that Cromer will no longer have operating theatres. Cromer hospital is also small, very peaceful and the staff have time for you which is not the case at Norwich.
I had my first op there in 1969 and 2 more last summer and it was 100% excellent.

Good to hear that you've had good experiences at Cromer and District Hospital. The hospital currently has two operating theatres (one for eye surgery and one for day case surgery) and it will continue to have two operating theatres when the new £15 million hospital opens next year.
