"Not being able to make an appointment with my Doctor"

I am a patient with long term medical needs both physical and mental. I only see my doctor as I prefer a woman and I have built up a trust and feel safe to talk about anything.

I cannot now make an appointment with her as you now have to be triaged first. I do not wish to tell someone else always what I want to see her for. Also I ring at 8am in the morning to be told that my doctor already has no more telephone consultations. This makes me feel that I can no longer use this service especially at the times when I am most vulnerable.

I feel I am entitled to see my own doctor even if I have to wait to see her as you could do on the old system and at least speak over the phone if necessary. This new system is extremely flawed and from a service user point of view far worse and neigh on useless.
