"overall experience was fantastic"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

What I liked

my midwife was amazing!

What could be improved

when i was admitted when my waters broke i was put on a ward. later when my contractions became stronger i would have preffered to be in my own room not on a ward with a poor new mummy who had a poorly baby, i must have kept her up all night!

Anything else?

my waters broke during a breastfeeding class on thurs 25th nov 10 at 1045 had only been on the tour of the unit the night before! i was 3weeks early and very scared but the staff were fab and really reassured me.

i eventualy gave birth the following day at 1813! the midwife who delivered my baby girl was amazing and cannot thank them enough also the doctors who helped my baby!

and afterwards on the ward f15 which was beautiful, the midwives were lovely and really took their time with us and helped me to establish breastfeeding.

was my first baby, would definatly go back if i have another and would recommend you to go there.

Many thanks for your kind comments about the staff at the hospital who cared for you during the birth of your baby girl, congratulations, your timing for your waters breaking was fantastic no panic about getting to the hospital. I will make sure the relevant managers are made aware of your positive experience for yourself and your baby daughter.

Kind regards
