Having arrived early for my visit and being nervous of the procedure, staff at the Day Unit were exceptional!

From the friendly receptionist to the consultant, all at WSH treated me as if I was the only person ever to be ill. I was treated with the utmost respect, made to feel at ease and was kept up to date constantly with the medical attention being administered.

Having been in a private hospital previously and with recent vitriolic press coverage, I was concerned about the standard of care within the NHS.

I need not have worried - The care was incredible and staff were just amazing. This department is a credit to the National Health Service and if any women reading this are concerned about their health and visit this department, I know that the will receive the very best care.
