"Excellent care"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Geriatric Assessment Kincardine Community Hospital

(as a relative),

Thank you to the staff in ward 102  Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and in Kincardine Community Hospital for the excellent care they gave to my father when he was a patient with them. Sadly he died in Stonehaven but the care he received made this sad time much easier

In particular thank you to Kirstine who was on night shift that week. I know how busy she was but she always managed to make us feel that nothing was a problem.

Dear SAA

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. This will be a very difficult and sad time for you and your family.

Thank you for taking the time just now to give your positive feedback on the care that your father received. I will pass your kind words onto the staff in Ward 102 my area of responsibility.

Kind Regards

Ruth Jones

Thank you for getting in touch SSA at what must be a really sad time for you. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

It’s heartening to know that you felt the care your father received made things easier for him - and of course for you and your family.

It's the small things that make a big difference and just knowing that Kirsteen was there to help when needed must have been comforting.

I think I know which Kirsteen you have mentioned and I’m sure your kind words will mean a lot to her – I’ll pass them on today and also to the wider team at Kincardine Community Hospital.

Take care,

Kirsten
