I attended Salford Royal A&E in April 2017 with my 1st miscarriage, not knowing I was pregnant. The Nurse on the ward was so sympathetic and gave me the news I didn’t want to hear in the best way possible.
I attended in July, 15 weeks pregnant with a foetus I had passed at home. The only fault I have with the Hospital on this occasion is when the Triage nurse asked how I knew I was having a miscarriage, as if my baby in a box wasn’t enough!
The A&E department where so quick and efficient, I expected to be sat in the waiting room for hours as it was a Sunday night and quite busy, we were given a room on our own to deal with trauma instead of a cubical. I was then wheeled to another ward where I had to stay overnight for monitoring, the staff here were again sympathetic and amazing. I can’t fault any part of the hospital or any of the staff from the A&E department, EPU and SHDU.
"Everyone was amazing with both of my Miscarriages"
