About: Heartlands Hospital / Gynaecology

I would like to thank all the staff on ward 1... I had hysterectomy on 20th Dec 2017..

My partner was allowed to stay.. which helped me a great deal... the consultant and his team... explained all about operation ..

After care was great by all staff..

I had a few concerns after I got home... rang the ward and was given reassuring advice.. nothing was to much trouble..

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding the care and treatment you received on Ward 1 and by your consultant, following your hysterectomy.

I am pleased that you had such a good patient experience, especially under the circumstances for which you were admitted.

I appreciate it would have been an anxious time for you and your partner, so it is nice to know that your partner was able to stay with you and that the staff were able to reassure you with your concerns.

I shall forward your posting to the Gynaecology senior management team and the ward staff and ask that it is shared with the staff, as I am sure will be delighted to read positive comments.

Once again, thank you for your posting, as all patient feedback is important to us, as we continually strive to improve our service for all patient’s and visitors.
