"Kind, cheerful and helpful"

Wendy at the princess royal health centre in Huddersfield is amazing. I went in for a general screening and to get some more contraceptive pills. 

Not only was she very kind and cheerful, but she was incredibly helpful. 

I had been traveling when my normal combined pill ran out, so I bought some over the counter in a couple of Asian countries. I have never had any blood pressure problems from taking the pill I acquired in the UK, but this was not the case with the pills I bought overseas. When she tested my blood pressure it was way higher than it should have been. She told me to immediately stop taking the combined pill and to try the pop pill instead. She told me in detail about the real risks involved with taking the combined pill, how the pop pill could affect my hormones and cycles, she answered the many questions I must have asked her during the appointment happily and knowledgeably and she really took into account the fact that I had been traveling and submitted my blood for some extra tests to make sure it was sufficiently immunized and told me the results at the second appointment I had with her, where she also retested my blood pressure and checked how I was getting along on my new pill. Which is going great. I have so much gratitude to her for the time she took to really make sure everything was ok with me and sorting out a much better form of birth control. Thank you again Wendy!
