I was rushed to A&E with severe pain in left hip. After being seen by doctor & a couple of x rays I was told I would be admitted to drain fluid from the hip.
I was taken to C5 where all the nursing staff put me at ease, told me I would need a MRI to investigate the fluid further & the hip would have to washed out after fluid had come out.
After the operation I stayed in C5 where again the staff ( who work tirelessly) kept checking I was ok.
I was then moved to C6 because they needed my bed on C5 & again the staff on C6 were amazing. They have to contend with a lot but they just get on with there job with professionalism.
C6 as well as C5 liked to reassure patients which is sometimes just as good as the medicine.
Thank you both wards
