About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / General surgery

My appt was brought forward as I was having a local anaesthetic. I arrived and was treated so respectfully by all the staff I saw. Everything was explained to me and I was the first one down for my operation. In theatre was my actual consultant who explained everything to me and options for the future for my condition.

After my op I was looked after by a lovely hca who checked my observations, stayed with me and made sure I was ok and comfortable. She even walked me back to the waiting room. Overall my experience was very reassuring as I was quite nervous.
