This is the 1st time I've been here and I'm happy to get put on Methodone. I've been on Subutex and I want to get on Methodone. They are good here but it's a long way to come. It costs me a tenner to get here and back. I feel you should get the money back.

I am hoping to reduce my Methodone and get back to normal. I think the service here will help me to do that for sure.

Thanks for taking the time to post about your experience at Guernsey House, it's good to hear that you already feel confident that we will help you towards your recovery.

We are able to reimburse patients for their travel expenses (up to a point) if in receipt of income support, income based employment support allowance or income based job seeker's allowance. If you receive one of these benefits then please bring a letter stating which benefit, dated within three months and proof of your journey (eg, a bus ticket) and we will reimburse your expenses for travelling to booked appointments.

We know that the clinic location isn't ideal for everyone (although we do have good public transport links) so we have set up two 'satellite clinics' where you can access Guernsey House staff and services in a different location. We currently offer these at Hanover Medical Centre and at the Wicker Pharmacy and we are working on setting up some more - please let us know where you think it would be useful to have one and we will take your feedback on board when we are planning future satellites. If you would like to have your appointments at the Wicker or at Hanover, please let one of our staff know next time you're in the clinic.
