"Very Pleased with all the care received"

My grandson was in this hospital in August 2017 having a big operation on his incisional hernia and he was very pleased with his treatment in all the wards that he stayed in. The staff went out of their way to make him comfortable and even got him a special bed for his back problem within an hour of requesting it.

He was also pleased that his operation was a success and that he had a minimal amount of pain. He has continued to improve and has been back for a follow-up appointment. On this occasion we arrived an hour early for the appointment because we had to travel from Wales and had to allow for holdups. We are glad to say that the consultant agreed to see our grandson earlier so that we could get off earlier to travel back to Wales. What can we say accept that we were very pleased with all the treatment received at North Devon District hospital.
