"Dismissive"

About: King's Mill Hospital / Dermatology

Having attended my appointment this week I came away feeling no better than I did beforehand. I felt as though the doctor was very dismissive and not really interested in any questions I had or issues I raised. I informed her that I had been suffering from a a new symptom which was a skin condition that has been really troubling me and she didn’t seem at all interested. She said next to nothing about it, didn’t examine it or anything. I had to ask every question under the sun about my other diagnosis because she did not explain anything to me at all. I am very disappointed at the treatment (or lack of) I received from this doctor and still have to suffer for another six months until my review where I will definitely be more insistent that my issues are dealt with appropriately.
