I had my baby on Wednesday 10th jan at the consultant led unit. Although it was a extremely busy time, I cannot thank the all the staff enough for there professionalism and hard work. From triage staff to midwives on the labour ward reassuring and answering any questions I had and making me feel comfortable.
I do feel PRH has recieved bad press recently however from my experience I believe the staff go beyond their duty to care for the women in labour and after birth. I think we need to appreciate the services we do recieve and praise the staff, nurses, midwives for there hard work (because it is a very difficult job).
Special thanks to the midwife who delivered my baby and the lady who looked after us after the delivery- from dressing the baby and making sure I had something to eat and drink during my time in hospital.
The labour suites are clean, very spacious and private. I would definitely recommend and assure any future mums to be that they will be well looked after ??
