I presented myself at A&E with severe abdominal pain where i was put in a cubical
and treated very quickly and attentively. After a few hours i was taken to a ward and sort of
left alone as the hours rolled by, i can understand as they are very busy.
When i was discharged i waited for a follow up appointment which didn't arrive so i chased that up finally got one, waited weeks for a ultra sound (still in pain) waited weeks
for another follow up appointment which i didn't get only to get a letter fobbing me off back
to my GP who does nothing about my complaint of constant discomfort and pain.
Is this what is the norm in the NHS or is it just the manor hospital?
Am i expected to live in pain for the rest of my life without diagnosis. I think i know the answer
to that from the actions of the manor hospital.
"Excellent A&E Staff but that's where it ends..."
