"Brilliant care given"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Crosshouse Hospital through the A+E department after I collapsed in the house due to the pain caused by an issue I was recieving pain treatment for. The staff were absolutely fantastic especially the nurses and the junior doctor who was looking after me. The porters were even kind enough to get me water from the cooler as I was in so much pain I couldn't walk to the coolers. I'm not an easy patient and hate being fussed over but I was very well looked after and I really can't praise the staff enough especially when they were bombarded with questions by my family. Love our amazing NHS Scotland.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.
