We have been visiting the pediatric cardiology team annually since the hospital opened. We are a little anxious within a year we will have to move on to adult heart care, but the Evelina consultant assured us both teams work together for a smooth transition.
The staff have been the same for almost every visit which make it familiar, and friendly. They are superb with our son and he never feels anxious and frightened.
So frontline health staff great.
I must make a comment about the new appointment system. Since it’s introduction we have had to chase for our appointment. Apparently automated though? now always involves calls, letters, needing to chase. Why do computer systems and admin always seem to not work? Doesn’t anyone do a real-time end to end experience user test to check? Really let’s the frontline staff down. Hope the internal systems aren’t as misfunctioning?
