"Could be better"

Getting the referral in the first place was a total pain, they call you from a private number (which I was not aware of previously) and if you miss the call, they will send a letter saying that IAPT were unable to get a hold of you, surely they could have used another method of contact (i.e. email)? I was only offered group therapy, which was fine and interesting at times, but it felt more like sitting through a lecture, and as time is limited and there are quite a few people in the room, I found it difficult to open up and talk about my problems. Also, I was told that I would be contacted after my group therapy session to see if i needed any extra help (based on questionnaire), I received a letter saying that I have severe symptoms of depression and anxiety, but I haven't had any help or other referrals since then. Starting to think that I should start saving up my wages and go private!
