I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear thubanzw76,

I am sorry, you must be getting very anxious; not only do you have an operation hanging over you, but the possibility of losing your job too. I am also sorry you feel like you are getting nowhere. I will be happy to find out what the situation is with your operation if you want to contact me on 01563 826222 or email me on eunice.goodwin@aapct.scot.nhs.uk.

I look forward to speaking with you,

best wishes,

Eunice

Dear thubanzw76,

Thank you for contacting me off-line. I hope the response has been helpful to clarify the situation. I think it is fair to say that you are not alone in believing you have been put on the list for an operation before it happens. The surgeon needs all the facts in front of them before a decision to operate, hopefully for you, this will be decided next week. I hope your consultation goes well and clarifies the way forward for you,

best wishes,

Eunice
