My partner was admitted for a total knee replacement early morning.
Everyone was polite, pleasant , cheerful and extremely informative as to what would be happening.
They kept u fully informed all the time.
I only left when he went for surgery.
Unfortunately they could not perform the operation due to him having chest pains.
It transpired that it was angina not a heart attack, thankfully.
I quickly returned to the hospital to be offered a cup of coffee and reassured that he was doing well. at know time were we (his family) made to feel that we were in the way and nothing seemed too much trouble.
Sorry to say that the same could not be said about Pinderfields when he was transferred for further tests.
Will not go into that here.
If I could say to anyone which hospital to go to it would certainly be Pontefract.
Once again grateful thanks from all his family.
"Gratitude"
