About: Ilkeston Community Hospital

I tripped over and fell on my wrist during the Christmas break and was fairly confident I'd done some damage!

Not believing it required A&E at QMC I went to Ilkeston Minor Injuries Unit as it was close to where I live in Stapleford.

It was the first time I'd ever been but from the moment I checked in at Reception I couldn't have asked for a better service or care.

The lovely lady on reception found me on the computer straight away and I was seen by a nurse, x-rayed, splinted up and sent home in a sling all within an hour.

I've been for a follow up appointment today and was seen on time, again by lovely friendly staff.

Oh, and the cleanliness was amazing!

Thank you all involved for your care - I wouldn't heistate to use this hospital again for a minor injury but hopefully I won't have to!
