"Confusion about consultants comments."

About: Hinckley & District Hosp

Was recently given a blood test at LRI to see if I have M G . Visit at Hinckley ended with me asking consultant if he could access the result. He said they were different trusts and he could not . At best a dismissive reply .

Going forward with little confidence.Taken over a year to get this far and was confused by this consultant taking a different route to his colleague at LRI.

Dear Mr Parkes, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Ophthalmology however we do apologise that the consultant you saw was not able to assess your recent test results. In order that this could be investigated could we suggest you contact the Patient Information Liaison Team (PILS) on Tel. 08081 788337 as they have access to patient records and can contact the consultant/clinic to get a full explanation and your results.
