Best Bits – Everybody at Abbotts house is pleasant and kind. We were offered coffee and were put in touch with other people who could help in different ways. All of the people who have come to care for us at home have been excellent ‘Gems’ very helpful, kind and they listen.
Change – I would appreciate as a carer having the opportunity to talk to people without my husband as sometimes I want to talk to them about things that I think might embarrass him if he was there.
How does the care make my husband feel –
“As the person who is cared for, I would say that the care I get relaxes me, knowing it is there and that I don’t have to worry about being looked after.”
How does the care make me feel –
As a carer I feel that the care my husband gets gives me confidence because ~I can ask questions about what I need to do and also I am learning about my husbands condition and the care he needs.
