"Out Patient Department"

An excellent service. I attended OPD this morning for a urology assessment. The Surgeon was polite, friendly and took time to explain the procedure showing me the scan and the problem which needed treating. I then went straight to the Pre op Assessment Unit and was asked to complete a form. I then had tests: usual stuff; ECG, BP, MRSA screen etc and after that had a meeting with the nurse to discuss the results. All the staff were friendly and smiling even tho they did not expect me and I was an added patient to their work list. From start to finish was under 90 minutes.
