About: Burnley General Hospital / Gynaecology

I attended as a day patient for a Breast reduction after having a mastectomy in 2011...The care I received from both my named nurse and surgeon where second to none...I was nervous on the day but felt that the staff were understanding....I remained in hospital overnight due to pain but was not made to feel as though I was bed blocking...

I went home the following morning....

I returned a week later and saw the consultant surgeon who had performed the operation...Nothing was too much trouble and felt very at ease with him....

My stay and after care at Burnley Hospital was a positive experience and would like to thank everyone involved in my care.
