I was on a trolley in a&e on the 29th December at approx 11/30 am , Along with many others, this is not a complaint. Yes it was very cold
Lying on a trolley waiting to be seen ,but everyone was calm and not complaining the staff were doing there best to get us through to the doctors, when I got through I was seen by a doctor and settled in by a Nurse, who was lovey and got more pillows, and blankets ,my family were sent through to me which made me feel a little better , I was asked the usual question about my health and medication, later I was sent for a chest
X-ray ,and then blood tests , it showed pneumonia I was then seen by a consultant who prescribed steroids and antibiotics intoveinously and a drip , my family went home as it was11pm ,at 6am I was brought a bed a bit more comfy ,
The. I was taken to award at lunchtime, AMU , I was kept onthedrip asi just couldnt face food ,and more antibiotics. The care I received during my stay in hospital was very good , I also saw the respect shown to a lady and her family as she was preparing to pass away ,difficult times for all but well handled , I always have great care at Stafford and I always ask to be taken there ,I just want to say a huge Thankyou for making me well once more ,
"Thankyou"
