I have broken my right arm humerus 6 weeks ago . It was a silly bicycle accident . My wife called emergency services and an ambulance arrived in very short time . 2 female medics were great for helping me. I had also head trauma and was feeling very dizzy and sleepy. They took me to our local hospital RUH A&E . They took me in . Within 5 minutes I had been seeing by a doctor. They were worried about my head trauma . Then they found out that I have broken my right arm humerus very , very badly . Broken in 3 places ( shattered) I arrived A&E 11:45 am . They kept me till 6 pm. I was in a huge pain . Nurses were keep visiting , Doctor was keeping eye on me . I felt that I was cared and looked after. At 6 pm , a plaster techican arrived and put arm and shoulder brace on me . He told me that the brace is a special one ( new technology) and informed me and my wife about how to use it. I was told that we could go home . The hospital organised a consultant appointment within a day . I was seen by orthopaedics consultant. My accident was on 29th of November . Since then I visited the hospital 3 times . I would like to thank volunteers, all reception staff, nurses, doctors, porters and lovely people in the cafe. I also would like thank people in plaster department. A gentleman technician gave me great advice . I am so grateful for all. I also feel so lucky that we have a great hospital. Thanks ever so much
