"Interesting stay"

About: CHAS (Children's Hospices Across Scotland)

(as a service user),

I had a very interesting stay at Rachel House.   They ask you in the morning if you want to do something over your stay.   I went to the cinema and swimming over my stay.   They also try to make you have the most fun you can.   The food is very good. Professional chefs cooking!   Better than some restaurants.   We can also do fun activities, for example art, play games.

What could be improved? Normal beds.

Dear Mackn tosh

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your "interesting stay".

Having fun is so important and it sounds as though this is exactly what you have had!

All the teams will be pleased to hear that they are getting it right for you and the "Professional Chefs" will be perhaps be thinking of auditioning for "Masterchef" after your positive comments!

We also want to make sure you are comfortable and have a good night's sleep so I would be keen to find out a little more about what "normal beds" mean to you. Have you discussed this with your Keyworker or another team member? It may be possible for us to make some adjustments. I would be happy to talk to you about this before your next visit if you have not yet managed to speak to anyone.

Thank you again for your feedback.

Best wishes

Jane
