"Attending Hairmyers with stroke symptoms"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was sent from work to A & E at Hairmyers hospital East Kilbride. Upon arrival (without referral) I was attended to for initial assessment within 30 minutes and 15 minutes later taken through to a cubicle & underwent various thorough tests. I found all the staff very caring & attentive and couldn’t fault them in any way, and can’t thank them enough for their care. Thankfully it was a Bells Palsy & not a stroke and I will be forever grateful for their excellent care during what was a very distressing time
