"The nurses and doctors give 100%"

I would just like to express my appreciation of the care my mum received at this hospital.

She was taken by ambulance to A&E on the 13th November with breathing difficulties.

The ambulance arrived very quickly and the staff were all excellent.

She was quickly assessed and taken to the ACCU.

She was very reassured by the fabulous nurses and she couldn’t have wished for better treatment.

She was on this ward for several weeks and said she felt very pleased to be there as she knew she was receiving the best attention possible..

Unfortunately she didn’t improve and was taken to the Intensive Care Unit on the 1st December, where the doctors and nurses did everything possible to make her comfortable and possibly aid her recovery.

Sadly, on the 22nd December Mum passed away.

We were consulted every step of the way, and although Mum couldn’t be made well, she was looked after extremely well.

I cannot thank them enough, the nurses truly are angels and the doctors work so hard and do everything possible, giving patients the best chance possible of a recovery.
