"My brother's care"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

(as a relative),

4 years ago this month my brother was transferred from Boston The Pilgrim to QMC intensive care with acute Pancreatitis. He was in a critical condition and spent many weeks in an induced coma. He received emergency surgery to remove most of his Pancreas and went from near death to making a full recovery.

We know that his life was saved by the experts at QMC and the care he received along with the support to our family we will forever be grateful.

Entering the world of intensive care will stay with us forever and praise those that live it on a daily basis to help saves lives.

Thank you

Thanks for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback. It’s heartening to hear that your brother received such good care and that your family felt so well-supported during what must have been a very difficult time. I have shared your comments with the team on critical care, who are all pleased to hear your brother has made a full recovery.
