"Great team at the day case centre"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / General surgery

I had a day in hospital as a day case patient.

I'm a very nervous patient. I havent been to the royal hallamshire before but had to have a general anethetic.

I'd already had 3 lots of the same surgery so was nervous and had a complicated health situation which had delayed my surgery previously.

I have to say from the moment we were greeted in reception to meeting with the surgeon, the nursing staff and anethatist, they all listened to my situation, had read my notes and consulted me with every step. Offering alternatives along the way.

I moved hospital to sheffield to a recommended surgeon despite my nearest hospital being Harrogate in North Yorkshire. The treatment I received at the Royal Hallamshire far out stripped that of the poor care and attitue in my local hospital.

I would recommend the day case centre.
