"An outstanding level of care when I needed it..."

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Urology

I recently had a tumour removed from my kidney and stayed on ward H2 for six very plesent days.

All the staff were caring and kind, without exception.

When a patient needed help the staff were on hand to help with great care.

Everyone was treated with the utmost dignity even when patients were challenging the Doctors and Nurses were there to help.

The cleanliness was perfect, Every nurse made sure they used infection control for every patient - there were no exceptions.

Everything was checked each time, from simple things such as checking the wrist band every time before medication to just generally making sure you were ok.

Any queries were dealt with immediately,

Questions were answered in plain language that was easy to understand and everyone was happy to discuss my treatment with me.

The Doctors and Nurses on this ward are clearly the prize of the health service and I cannot thank them enough for looking after me so well when I needed it the most.

Thank you for leaving feedback. Your kind and positive words will mean a great deal to the staff on ward H2, they will be very encouraged by it and will be really pleased to learn you felt so cared for, as this is what they aim for.

With thanks and all best wishes for your continued recovery
