"Emergency admission"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Ear, Nose and Throat

Having been to RDGH Walk in Centre with a suspected ear infection I was quickly diagnosed and told to go to DRI. Never been before so went with some trepidation. This was Friday 22 December at 11.00pm

Admitted to the Ear, Nose & Throat ward S12 where they were waiting for me, the care was fantastic. Given a private room, made to feel settled and treated straight away for Cellulitis.

I was there for 3 nights and finally discharged on Christmas Day at 3.00pm.

On record I would like to thank all the staff on ward S12 who worked compassionately, with pride and good humour. There is never a good time to be in hospital, worse of all over Christmas but the staff made it bearable. You are all a credit to the profession.

What wonderful feedback - thank you very much for taking the time to let us know of our recent experience at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

What is really apparent is that all staff you came across had the same high standards of care and professionalism. This is just as it should be and is lovely to hear.

I will ensure your kind words are passed on to the teams.
