"Joke of a surgery"

Called today to see if I could speak to a GP. Gp refused to get back to me, late afternoon the receptionist called to say that the Dr couldn’t call and I needed to call 111. That I did and was told that 111 couldn’t do anything and that my GP had duty of care and they could only help me after 6:30. From the assessment 111 did I needed to be seen by a GP within 2hours. I explained this to the receptionist. The second receptionist was rude, disrespectful and unhelpful. Why are GP’s sign posting pAitents to use the 111 service in the day time when they know they can’t do anything until out of hours.

Why are beechwoood surgery still excepting new patients when they clearly can’t cope with the ones they have. I asked if the Practice manager could call me and I haven’t heard anything. In my opinion beechwood surgery has gone downhill. I would not recommend anyone going there.

Oh and if like to know what medical qualifications the receptionists has not only are they rude but they are asking personal questions. Asking for a brief description is one thing but having to go into detail with a receptionist so they decide if you see a dr. I think this is very poor and dangerous.
