I attended A&E after falling off my pedal bike in February 2016, I was advised I had sprained my wrist and it would be better in a few weeks although no x-ray was offered.
Still in substantial pain I went back to A&E a few weeks later where after an x-ray revealed a fracture.
After trying casts for a number of weeks I was advised I would need a bone graft to fix this fracture.
I had the bone graft in September 16 but unfortunately during an appointment in June 2017 I was advised I would need more surgery (arthroscopy and removal of the screw which is too long).
It is now January 2018 and have just been advised I am still looking at another 3-4 months for surgery,
Is an 11 month wait for surgery really acceptable?
"Shocking"
